WEST PALM BEACH, Florida, Sept. 20–The €100,000 (US$137,000) World Dressage Masters is scheduled for the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in West Palm Beach Jan. 26-29 and will again be sponsored by International Polo Club Palm Beach, the organizers announced Tuesday.
Wellington Classic Dressage, organizers of the competition that will be held simultaneously with a CDI3*, did not provide details though top American rider Steffen Peters has announced he plans to compete his World Equestrian Games double medal mount Ravel at the event. The pair competed at the first three editions of the event.
The 2011 WDM was also held at the Brandon Center after the host of the first two competitions at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center dropped the event.
The CDI5* WDM comprises four events–West Palm Beach, Munich, Germany, Falsterbo, Sweden and Hickstead, England–and is sponsored by the Axel Johnson Group.
