HIMBERG, Austria, Sept. 18–Victoria Max-Theurer rode Augustin OLD to victory in the Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday to capture her ninth Austrian national title.

Vici and the 11-year-old stallion (August der Starke x Weinrubina x Rohdiamant) scored 74.94 per cent with Peter Gmoser on his top horse, Cointreau 10, second on 68.51 per cent and Hannes Mayr and Ellis third on 79.80 per cent and, coupled with her 74.94 per cent in Saturday’s Grand Prix, gave her the championship.

Peter Gmoser and Cointreau 10 were second in both the Grand Prix and the Freestyle with 74.05 per cent for the reserve championship, while Nikolaus Erdmann, who celebrated his 24th birthday on Saturday, rode Danny Wilde to third place with 69.90 per cent in the Freestyle.
