The Dominican Republic dressage team for the Pan American Games next month was announced Saturday, led by double individual bronze medalist Yvonne Losos de Muñiz.

The team for the Pan Ams in Guadalajara, Mexico, Oct. 16-is:

–Yvonne Losos de Muñiz, riding Dondolo Las Marismas, an 11-year old Danish Warmblood gelding by Don Schufro, owned by the rider. Yvonne won individual bronze at the 2003 Pan Am Games in her home country and again at the 2007 Games in Rio de Janeiro.

–Samira Uemura, riding Royal Affair, a 9-year old Hanoverian gelding by Royal Diamond, owned by North Holdings Ltd.

–Dr. George Fernández, riding Bravo, a 15-year old Holsteiner gelding by Lacapo, owned by Elaine Sherer.

The Dominican team will be coached at the Pan Ams by its long-time trainer, Diederik Wigmans from the Netherlands.
