MILTON, Ontario, June 18–Diane Creech and Devon L posted their second best score ever to capture the Grand Prix Special at the Milton Summer Classic Saturday.
Diane and the 11-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Leatherdale Farms posted a score of 69.042 per cent, their best Grand Prix Special mark since 69.208 per cent at Weikersdorf, Austria in October, 2009. The pair won the Grand Prix Friday.
Victoria Winter on Proton scored 68.313 per cent for second place and Cheryl Meisner on Paganini was third with 65.729 per cent.
Tom Dvorak and Viva’s Salieri W followed up Friday’s Prix St. Georges win with a victory in the Intermediaire I, scoring 72.851 per cent with Tina Irwin in second on 71.053 per cent and the USA’s David Marcus on Chevri’s Capital in third place with 70.000 per cent.
