LAUSANNE, Switzerland, May 12–Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein and Digby moved into the Top 10 on the International Equestrian Federation’s world rankings as of the end of April, based on their reserve title at the World Cup Final last month.
The Danish rider and the 14-year-old Danish warmblood gelding who won team bronze at the 2008 Olympics, moved up to 7th place from 11th. There were no changes in the top five from the previous month, including Edward Gal and Totilas of The Netherlands still in the top spot although the horse was sold to Germany eight months ago. Edward and Sisther de Jeu, however, moved up to 17th place from 86th, following their World Cup performances.
The biggest move was for Jan Ebeling of Moorpark, California, on Rafalca, the top finishing USA combination at the World Cup Final in Leipzig, to 27th place from 106th
