LAUSANNE, Switzerland, May 10–The 2013 World Cup Dressage Final has been awarded to Gothenburg, Sweden which will also host the World Cup Jumping Final for April 24-28.

The announcement was made by the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) after approval by the FEI bureau.

The 2012 World Cup Final has already been announced for ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, the 10th time it will host the event since it was inaugurated in 1986 and the first time hosting the dual dressage and jumping Finals.

Other championships awarded by the FEI include the 2012 European Dressage Championships for Young Riders and Juniors, in Bern, Switzerland, July 8-15 and the 2013 World Dressage Championships for Young Horses to Verden, Germany, on dates to be announced.
