WEST PALM BEACH, Florida, April 16–With long distance coaching help, Susan Dutta rode Manette DC to their highest ever score at Grand Prix in the Gold Coast Dressage Association Grand Finale Saturday.

Susan of Wellington, Florida, and the 12-year-old mare scored 69.574 per cent with Heather Bender of Palm City, Florida and Winwood second on 64.255 per cent and the Wellington-based Australian Kelly Layne and Raja third on 64.043 per cent.

“It has really been working well with Oded Shimoni, we have shown really good improvement,” Susan said of the Wellington-based Israeli. “It is producing results. Both myself and the horse are more relaxed in the ring.

“Oded is in Israel right now so he has been coaching me over the phone.”

Susan and Manette competed in Europe for several months in 2009 and 2010.
