LOS ANGELES, Mar. 20–Steffen Peters joined Olympians Sunday in running in the Los Angeles Marathon for The Sunshine Kids, a charity for children with cancer.
Despite a cold, rainy day–thousands of runners were evaluated for hypothermia–Steffen reported:
“Lots warm smiles from all 26 kids. Each Sunshine Kid ran one mile. Some went piggy back with us. Great fun.”
