Sons of the Wind Lusitanos will compete at Dressage Under the Stars on Wednesday, Mar. 16 at the Players Club in Wellington. The competition begins at 8 p.m.
Nationally renowned trainer Vitor J. Silva and his students, Emily Kannenstine and Leah Winston who will be working for Sons of the Winds, will begin by competing in a dressage competition against a group of PRE horses, showcasing the talents of the different breeds. Midway through the evening, Vitor and his riders will perform a quadrille.
The Sons of the Wind have been featured at the Boston Portuguese Festival, Bear Spot Freestyle, Potomac Valley Dressage Association “Ride For Life,”, and other events. The Sons of the Wind School for the Equestrian Arts is based in Merrimac, Massachusetts and winter Palm City, Florida.
