GLADSTONE, New Jersey, Jan. 10–Maureen Pethick will no longer be the U.S. Equestrian Federation High Performance Dressage Coordinator as the position has been relocated to the USEF headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky and combined with other disciplines.
It is the latest change in the USEF Dressage Department, details of which were provided by Eva Salomon, managing director and chef d’equipe for dressage based in Lexington.
Jenny Van Wieren became the High Performance Dressage Director last May.
Jeannie Putney became the National Director of Dressage from the beginning of the year.
A new Sports Program assistant will take over the functions performed by Maureen as well as in endurance and reining.
Maureen worked two days a week for the USEF and three days at the U.S. Equestrian Team Foundation at the foundation headquarters in Gladstone, New Jersey.
Maureen has been involved in dressage for 14 years, first joining the U.S. Equestrian Team as Director of Dressage Activities in 1997. She is well known for her support for the athletes. She will continue with the USET Foundation.
