WERRIBEE, Australia, Dec. 1–The top 12 Australian and one New Zealand dressage combinations have been selected for the Pacific League World Cup Final to decide who will compete at the global final in Leipzig, Germany at the end of April.

The lineup for the Pacific League Final at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Center Dec. 9-12 is:

Nadia Coghlan/Northern Campion; Gitte Donvig/Port Said 10; Shiwon Greene/Gosh of New Zealand; Mary Hanna/Sancette and Umbro; Blas Lago/Northern Hector; Heath Ryan/Regardez Moi; Rozzie Ryan/Jive Magic; Lesley Anne Taylor/Welpe’s Countess and Maree Tomkinson/Rodrigo III; Caroline Wagner/WS Nevada and Chantal Wigan/Ferero.

Heath Ryan and Regardez Moi won the Pacific League World Cup Final in 2008 and made a clean sweep of the Grand Prix classes at the recent Australian Championships. Gitte Donvig and Port Said 10 were second to Heath at the Australian Championships in the Grand Prix and the Freestyle, including a personal best Freestyle score of 70.30 per cent.

Three-time Olympian and a World Cup Finalist Mary Hanna has qualified two horses, including the newly imported Sancette but she can only ride one in the Freestyle. Heath’s wife Rozzie, also a former World Cup Finalist was third here last year with Jive Magic and won the Grand Prix at Sydney CDI-W earlier this year.

Chantal Wigan and Ferero returned home after campaigning in Europe for three years, winning the Grand Prix at Equitana and finished fourth in the Grand Prix Freestyle in their homeland debut.
