
OLDENBURG, Germany, Nov. 13–Holland’s Sander Marijnissen and Moedwil won the Oldenburger International Horse Show CDI4* Grand Prix Saturday their first international competition in more than a year and repeating their victory from 2008.
The pair whose last victory was the Exquis World Dressage Masters Grand Prix Special in Munich in May, 2009, scored 72.723 per cent. Germany’s Anna-Katharina Lüttgen on Lamborghini was second on 71.234 per cent with Christoph Koschel on Franziskus third with 69.872 per cent.
Sander and Moedwil swept the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special here in 2008.
Sander focuses on his family and his training business and last competed the 16-year-old KWPN gelding internationally at the World Equestrian Festival in Aachen, Germany in 2009. In the same year, they won at Munich and Bremen.
