COPENHAGEN, Aug. 21–The Danish team for the World Equestrian Games includes 2008 Olympic team bronze medalists Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein on Digby and Anne van Olst on Exquis Clearwater joined by Anne Troensegaard on Seduc and Sune Hansen on Gredstedgaards Casmir. The reserve is Sanne Henningsen on Atterupgaards Molberg.
Rudolf Zeillinger, team coach, announced the team Saturday during the 1st Horse CDI3* where Princess Nathalie was competing for the first time in five months and less than four weeks since giving birth to a baby boy, Konsantin. The team details were first reported by Ridehesten.com.
On Digby, she won the Grand Prix Friday and followed up Saturday with a victory in the Special with a score of 72.75 per cent with Mikaela Lindh on Mas Guapo second and Alexandra Malmström on MD Waterford third on 65.46 per cent.
In the Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday, Anne van Olst and Exquis Clearwater won with 73.55 per with Anna Troensegaard on Seduc second on 73.50 and the Wellington, Florida-based Mikala Münter Gundersen on Leonberg third on 70.40.
