WAYNE, Illinois, July 25–Clare Krska, 18, of Olathe, Kansas, rode her 16th birthday present, Romincka, to the gold medal in the USEF Dressage Seat Medal Final for riders aged 14-18 on Sunday.
In her first trip to the USEF Dressage Seat Medal Finals, Clare said her win was “a real honor against a bunch of great riders.”Silver went to 16-year-old Rachel Chowanec from Columbia, Connecticut on Embrujado XI on loan from Lendon Gray and Hampton Green Farm. Jessica Foschi from Virginia, Minnesota rode Crescent Moon’s Lancelo to third place.
