LEXINGTON, Kentucky, Mar. 12–Cara Whitham of Canada has taken a two-month break from dressage judging for health reasons and will not be on the ground jury for the Kentucky Cup CDI3* World Equestrian Games test event in Kentucky Apr. 20-22.

She is expected, however, to return in time for the Allteach FEI WEG beginning at the end of September.

The other judges are Stephen Clarke of Great Britain, Linda Zang and Janet Foy of the U.S. and Mary Seefried of Australia. Wotjek Markowski of Poland who is technical delegate for the event is expected to replace Cara.

The event is drawing widespread interest from competitors from the U.S., Canada and several European nations. A large contingent of horse/rider combinations from Wellington, Florida, have entered the event following the winter circuit.
