LAUSANNE, Switzerland, Jan. 14–Edward Gal and Moorlands Totilas entered 2010 atop the FEI World Individual Dressage Rankings for the second straight month, but the newly returned Isabell Werth rocketed back into the top 10 with two horses.
The top seven rankings for December, 2009, remained the same from the previous month.
Imke Schellekens-Bartels on Hunter Douglas Sunrise moved to 8th place from 10th, while Germany’s Matthias Alexander Rath dropped two places to the 10th slot.
Isabell Werth of Germany, who returned to the competition arena after Christmas following a six-month break to have a baby, maintained 3rd place with her Olympic mount, Satchmo.
On Warum Nicht FRH which she competed at the Mechelen, Belgium World Cup event last month, finishing second in the Grand Prix Freestyle and third in the Grand Prix, isabell jumped into 9th place from the 53rd spot.
