LINCOLN, Nebraska, Jan. 12–The Dressage Foundation announced Tuesday that a Sally Swift Memorial Fund has been established to provide financial support for Centered Riding® clinics.
The fund was created with donations to The Dressage Foundation from Sally’s friends and supporters. It will provide grants up to $1,000 to U.S. Dressage Federation Group Membership Organizations (GMOs) hosting a Centered Riding® Clinic.
Applications are available from The Dressage Foundation Internet site, www.dressagefoundation.org.
“Sally has had a major impact on riding. It is very exciting to be able to offer this fund, to create this legacy for her and for Centered Riding,” said Melissa Filipi, development director. “This is a wonderful, lasting tribute to a wonderful woman.”
Sally Swift died in April, 2009, at the age of 95.
