LOXAHATCHEE, Florida, Dec. 19–A memorial celebration for Ingred Lin, the owner of Lusitanos competed by Olympian Lisa Wilcox, and of the White Fences Equestrian Center that hosts several dressage shows, will be held Monday, Dec. 28.

The celebration will be from 1 to 4 p.m. at White Fences Equestrian Center.

Ingred, 54, died Thursday after battling breast cancer for 13 years.

Until just a week ago when she was re-admitted to the hospital, Ingred was an almost daily visitor to Stillpoint Farm in Wellington where Lisa Wilcox trained the Ingred Lin-owned Queba HM and Quemacho. Both horses are competing at Grand Prix with Queba scoring in the 70s.

Just last weekend, Lisa and Queba won the Grand Prix Freestyle with a score of 74.500 per cent. The freestyle was compiled to music by Dvorak that was selected Ingrid.

White Fences Equestrian Center was the original home of the Palm Beach Dressage Derby. Four nationally recognized competitions were held at the center during Florida’s winter circuit.
