ALAMO, California, Nov. 18–DressageTrainingOnline.com announed Wednesday that it will award seven all-expense trips to Germany to study the 2010 summer young horse program.

Named the YoungStar Spotlight program, the awards are open to riders, trainers, owners, breeders and judges to take part in a tour hosted by Scott Hassler, one of the foremost young dressage trainers in the United States.

“The YoungStar Spotlight program will send the winners to Germany on a hosted trip that will include airfare, lodging and attendance at Bundeschampionate,” said Reisa Bonetti, founder of DressageTrainingOnline.com, referring to the German National Young Horse Championships held in the Fall. “This is an amazing program and a fantastic opportunity.”

The seven winners of the YoungStar Spotlight program will take part in the private tour led by Scott Hassler that will include some of the most well known addresses in Europe to meet with knowledgeable trainers, riders and breeders of young dressage horses.

Bonetti said, “So if you, or someone you know, is a rider, trainer, judge, owner or breeder of young dressage horses and wants to catapult themselves from where they are in their young horse knowledge and development to an entirely new place, then take a moment and send in a nomination.”

The nominee or nominator must be a current member of DressageTrainingOnline.com at the date of nomination.

“We hope everyone will go to the website and follow the nominees, listen to their stories and look at their pictures and videos,” she said.
