DONAUESHINGEN, Germany, Sept. 21–German Olympian Nadine Capellmann reports that she suffered a violent allergic reaction to a bee sting requiring emergency treatment at a hospital over the weekend.

She reported that the drugs required for treatment forced her to scratch competing with her Grand Prix horse, Raffaldo.

The 44-year-old rider, who won team gold on Elvis VA at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, reports that “everything feels well” again.
