Ms. Blitz, who has been based in Denmark for the past three years, is moving to Loxahatchee in the heart of Florida’s winter competition circuit.
“I have had a wonderful time in Europe and have made many friends as well as some great clients but the time has come for me to return home,” said Heather, who has frequently returned to the U.S. for her Mind Your Riding clinic tours. “I already have a number of clients who will be joining me which is very exciting and I’m looking forward to getting started with the new business.”
She will be based near White Fences within here minutes of the major competition venues in South Florida.
She will be bringing with her the six-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding, Paragon, to continue his training and begin competing.
“I think this will be a great move for Paragon and me to be exposed to competitions on the Florida circuit,” she said. “He’s turning into a very special horse and it’s important that I start his show career in the right environment.”
