WINDSOR, England, Aug. 18–The Alltech FEI European Jumping and Dressage Championships will be broadcast globally on a Championship radio station dedicated to the event from Aug. 25-30.

Championship followers will be able to listen to live expert commentary for all of the dressage competition and some of the jumping competitions. The channel will be packed with live rider interviews, backstage stories and expert views.
Listeners around the world can tune in to the championship radio by visiting the Internet site www.alltechfeiwindsoreuopeans.com. Visitors to the event at Windsor can purchase one of the special headsets from the radio or program sellers in the showground for £8 (€9.28/US$13) for the duration of the event.
The Dressage commentary team will be led by Sandy Phillips. Sandy trained for many years in Germany with George Theodorescu and Hubertus Schmidt. She was a member of the U.S. Olympic Dressage team in the 1984 Olympics and the 1982 and 1986 World Championships and then became a member of the British Dressage team for the Europeans and World Championships in Rome in 1998 and Aachen in 2006. In 2006 she became British National Dressage Champion on Lara 106. Sandy is an FEI “I” Judge in Eventing and Dressage. She will be joined during the course of the event by Carl Hester, Ulla Salzgeber and Jane Gregory.
The commentary team for the jumping classes will be led by Steven Wilde. Steven is a regular presenter for Sky Sport, Eurosport and Horse and Country TV and a familiar voice on many show grounds around the country.
The classes to be broadcast by the radio service are:
Tues., Aug. 25 – Dressage 1st Competition Individual and Team 9.30am – 5pm (4:30am-12 noon US ET)
Wed., Aug. 26 – Dressage 1st Competition Individual and Team 9.30am – 5pm
Thurs. Aug. 27 – Dressage Grand Prix Special 9.30am – 5pm
Fri. Aug. 28 – Jumping Team Final and Individual 8.30am – 5pm (3:30 am-12 noon US ET)
Sat. Aug. 29 – Dressage Final Grand Prix Freestyle to Music 7.15pm – 11pm (2:15pm-6pm US ET)
Sun. Aug. 30 – Jumping Individual Final 1.30pm – 5.30pm (8:30am-12:30pm US ET)
