HARTPURY, England, July 19–Richard Davison and Hiscox Artemis put Britain on top in the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Musical Freestyle while Britain’s favorite Finn, Kyra Kyrklund, on Adelante took the Grand Prix Special at the Hartpury Festival of Dressage.
Davison and Artemis scored 68.596 per cent for the Grand Prix win while Leslie Morse of Beverly Hills, California, the U.S. Grand Prix Champion on Tip Top a month ago, placed second on 67.149 per cent and Britain’s Maria Eilberg on Two Sox in third place with 66.894 per cent.
In the Grand Prix Freestyle, Davison and Artemis posted a score of 74.400 per cent with Eilberg and Two Sox second on 72.350 per cent and Kebie van der Heijden on Toy Story of The Netherlands in third place with 69.825 per cent.
Kyrklund and Adelante scored 68.750 per cent to win the Grand Prix Special, with Britain’s Judy Harvey on Fitzcerraldo second on 68.375 per cent with Morse and Tip Top in third place with 67.208 per cent.
