FALSTERBO, Sweden, July 19–Olympian Patrik Kittel on Scandic led Sweden to victory over The Netherlands and Germany in the Grand Prix Kür CDIO Nations Cup at the Falsterbo Horse Show Sunday.
Kittel, who won the Grand Prix Friday, was the top finishing rider on 76.150 per cent with Tinne Wilhelmson-Silfven and Solos Carex 72.5000 per cent and Minna Telde and Don Charly at 71.950 per cent for a team total of 220.600.
The Dutch team of Aat van Essen on Premier, Christa Laarakkers on Ovation and Stephanie Peters on Jeff had a total of 214.850 while Germany’s squad of Carola Koppelmann on Insterburg TSF, Hubertus Schmidt on Hinnerk TSF and Wieger de Boer on Cosmopolitan in third place with a total of 210.600.
Peters and Jeff placed second with 75.550 per cent while Sune Hansen on Gredstedgårds Casmir was third with 73.950 per cent, but not enough to move her Danish team from fourth place.
In Friday’s Grand Prix, Kittel and Scandic posted a winning score of 73.830 per cent, with Peters and Jeff second on 70.766 per cent and Wilhelmson-Silfven and Favourit in third place with 70.298 per cent.
