OTTAWA, Canada, Apr. 21—Brittany Fraser has been named the Dressage Canada Red Scarf Equestrian Athlete of the Month for March.
Fraser, 20, of Glasgow, Novia Scotia, competed on Florida’s winter dressage circuit earning top scores at Palm Beach Dressage Derby CDI W-Y and Wellington Classic Dressage Challenge II in the Young Riders Division.
Riding her horse Furio, a 13-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding, Fraser finished second in the FEI Young Rider Team test with 64.053 per cent, fourth in the Young Rider Individual test with a score of 63 per cent, and received a 66.60 per cent for fifth place, in the Young Riders Freestyle at Palm Beach Dressage Derby CDI W-Y.
One week later, Fraser and Furio were third with 65.526 per cent Young Rider Team test, second with a score of 66.579 per cent in the Young Rider Individual test and won the Young Rider Freestyle with a top score of 70.667 per cent at the Wellington Classic Dressage Challenge II, in West Palm Beach.

Dressage Canada Red Scarf Equestrian Athlete of the Month is recognition program to celebrate the achievements of Canadian dressage riders who represent Canada in national and international competition at the FEI Pony, Children, Junior, Young Rider, Advanced, Grand Prix and Young Horses classes.
