LEXINGTON, Ky., Apr. 4–ClubEquestrian.com has introduced a ride share program to help equestrians save money in a tough economy.

The U.S. Equestrian Federation ClubEquestrian.com service is also aimed at promoting eco-friendly horse transportation by reducing the number of vehicles required to carry horses.

“Often the logistics of long-distance travel is an unforeseen roadblock in the path to equine events,” the USEF said in a statement. “This new tool allows equine enthusiasts and competitors to post information about open trailer spots as well as inquire about rides. Information such as where a trailer is leaving from, open trailer space and potential lay-overs will be readily available.”

The Ride Share program can be found by logging on to ClubEquestrian.com and going to “My Tackroom” or visiting www.clubequestrian.com/tools/rideshare.
