Olympic dressage trivia as horses and riders move into Versailles stables in Paris ahead of competition.

Oldest horse in the competition is the 19-year-old Aquamarijn, a KWPN mare competed by Yvonne Losos de Muñiz of the Dominican Republic. The pair competed in the Tokyo Olympics.
Buriel K.H., an 18-year-old KWPN gelding, is ridden by Juliette Ramel of Sweden in the third Olympics for the combination; they competed on Swedish teams at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro and at Tokyo.

Five 17-year-olds include:
TSF Dalera BB, Tokyo Olympic champion, a Trakehner mare ridden by Jessica von Bredow-Werndl of Germany;
Destano, a Hanoverian stallion, ridden by Simone Pearce of Australia, that also competed at Tokyo;
Dante Weltino OLD, a Swedish Warmblood stallion ridden by Therese Nilshagen also a Tokyo competitor;
Statesman, a Hanoverian stallion ridden by Naima Moreira Laliberte of Canada that competed at the 2022 World Championshps, and
Sir Caramello OLD, an Oldenburg gelding to be ridden by Anush Agarwalla for India as an individual.

Youngest horses are:
Maxima Bella, 8-year-old Oldenburg mare ridden by Sandra Sysojeva on Poland’s team;
Fuerst Kennedy, 9-year-old Oldenburg stallion ridden by João Pedro Moreira Drosa for Portugal, and
Frizzantino FRH, 9-year-old Hanoverian stallion ridden by Borja Carrascosa for Spain.

The youngest rider is
Camille Carier Bergeron, aged 24 who is scheduled to ride Finnlanderin for Canada; Camille is four months younger than
Anush Agarwalla, also 24, who will ride Sir Caramello OLD as an individual for India.

Oldest rider is:
Juan Antonio Jimenez Cobo, 65, who rides Euclides Mor, 15-year-old Lusitano stallion, for Spain, followed by
Steffen PETERS, 59, on Suppenkasper, 16-year-old KWPN gelding, for the United States

Most Olympics, including Paris, have been competed in by:
Carl Hester of Great Britain, and
Isabell Werth of Germany, both with 7.
Steffen Peters of the United States will be riding in his 6th Olympics.

7 gold and 5 silver for total of 12 medals, the most of any equestrian in the history of the Olympics and ranked 15th for all sports, all-time.
