LEXINGTON, Kentucky, July 20, 2023–Nine horse and rider combinations have been named by U.S. Equestrian to the American dressage team short list for the Pan American Games in Santiago Oct. 22-25.

The short list:

Susie Dutta of Wellington, Florida and Don Design DC, 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Susie and Tim Dutta
Codi Harrison of Wellington and Katholt’s Bossco, her 16-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding
Charlotte Jorst of Reno, Nevada and Zhaplin Langholt, 10-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding owned by Kastel Denmark
Kevin Kohmann of Wellington and Duenensee, 14-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Diamante Farms
Anna Marek of Dunnellon, Florida and Fire Fly, 13-year-old KWPN gelding owned by Janet Simile
Christian Simonson of Ventura, California and Son of a Lady, 12-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding owned by Christina Morgan and Clifton Simonson
Christian Simonson and Zeaball Diawind, 11-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding owned by Christina Morgan
Sarah Tubman of Wellington and First Apple, 13-year-old KWPN stallion owned by Summit Farm
Jennifer Williams of Olympia, Washington and Joppe K, nine-year-old KWPN gelding owned by Joppe Partners, LLC

George Williams, USEF Dressage High Performance Pathway Advisor, will be team chef d’equipe.

Qualification going forward include either the U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions or a dressage CDI between July 10 and Sept. 10, 2023. The team is expected to be announced mid-September.
