HARTPURY, England, July 9, 2023–Carl Hester on En Vogue won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Sunday to make it two-for-two at the Festival of Dressage while America’s Katherine Bateson Chandler on Haute Couture recovered from a sub par Grand Prix to become runner-up.

Carl and the 14-year-old KWPN gelding, his Olympic and 2021 European Championships medal mount, scored 76.872% for the victory. The pair won the Grand Prix Friday.

Katherine Bateson Chandler, based in Wellington, Florida and a long-time student of Carl’s, was second on 71.128% in only their third Big Tour Special.
