BAWLEY POINT, Australia, Feb. 25, 2023–Charlotte Phillips and CP Dresden posted a personal best score to win the World Cup Pacific League Final Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday to earn an invite to the Omaha championship at the beginning of April.
The 21-year-old rider and the Australian-bred Warmblood gelding scored 74.275 for the win in the only geographic group that holds a final to decide the sole representative from the Australia-New Zealand region.
The horse that Charlotte took over a year ago from Grand Prix competitor Alycia Targa has competed only in southeast Australia.
The only other rider in the league final was Kerry Mack on Mayfield Limelight, scoring 68.140%.
