LILLESTRØM, Norway, Dec. 3, 2022–Charlotte Heering rode Bufranco to victory in the Norwegian Horse Festival CDI3* Grand Prix Saturday for the first Big Tour win since the debut competition of the Danish team partnership six years ago.

Charlotte and the 16-year-old KWPN gelding scored 71.978% for the win. The pair’s only previous CDI Grand Prix victory was in the Freestyle at their debut Big Tour competition in May 2016. Since then, the duo competed on Denmark’s bronze medal team at the 2021 European Championships and in two Nations Cups.

Compatriot Joachim Thomsen and Aaroe’s Gandhi, 14-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding, were runners-up on 71.087%.

Sweden’s Jennie Larsson and Zircoon Spring Flower, 18-year-old KWPN gelding, placed third on 67.826%.
