A Lövsta Future Challenge International tour for dressage under-25 riders has been created with a circuit of three Central European World Cup events.

The events will be staged at Vilhelmsborg, Denmark Oct. 17-23; Jumping Amsterdam Jan. 25-29, 2023 and Gothenburg, Sweden Feb. 22-26, 2023.

Each competition of a U25 Grand Prix and a Grand Prix Freestyle will have a total of eight competitors, with the organizing nations each allocated at least two places. The two remaining places will go to applicants from anywhere in the world.

Antonia Ax:son Johnson, owner of Lövsta Stuteri and founder of the Lövsta Future Challenge that she described as “our guiding light,” said it was a “great pleasure” to extend Lövsta’s support with the new international circuit.

An overall winner will be crowned at Gothenburg. A bonus of SEK 100,000/US$9,500 will be awarded to the horse and rider that has participated in at least two of the events, of which Gothenburg Horse Show must be one, and has the highest average percentage in the U25 Grand Prix.

In addition to dressage and jumper series in Sweden, Lövsta Future Challenge has sponsored a developing Grand Prix series throughout the winter-long Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida.
