SYDNEY, April 28, 2022–John Thompson and Chemistry won the CDI3* Grand Prix Thursday for the first Big Tour victory for the New Zealand partnership.
John and the 10-year-old KWPN stallion scored 69.913% for the first win in 13 starts in the past two years of Grand Prix competition, that included four seconds and four third placea for the Australian-based rider and Chemistry.
Jayden Brown and Willingapark Sky Diamond were second on 68.804%.
New Zealand’s Gaylene Lennard and Jax Johnson were third on 66.652%.
