Laura Graves, former world No. 1 with Verdades, and the seven-year-old Sensation HW have been added to the USA Development program of 11 senior riders and five Under-25.

The list of riders to the Kundrun USEF Development Program named for sponsors Claudine and Fritz Kundrun was announced Friday by the U.S. Equestrian Federation.

The combinations named to the program are:

Claire Darnell of Moorpark, California and Harrold S, her eight-year-old KWPN gelding

Susie Dutta of Wellington, Florida and Don Design DC, 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding, owned by Susie and Tim Dutta

Laura Graves of Geneva, Florida and Sensation HW, seven-year-old Westfalen gelding, owned by Carol McPhee

Kristina Harrison of Burbank, California and Finley, her 10-year-old KWPN gelding

Jennifer Hoffmann of Carlsbad, California and Rondoro Noblesse, her nine-year-old Austrian Warmblood stallion

Lindsey Holleger of Middletown, New York and MW Ave Maria, seven-year-old Oldenburg mare, owned by Jennifer Vanover

Katie Johnson of Greenwood Village, Colorado and Paxton, nine-year-old Westfalen gelding, owned by Kylee Lourie

Sarah Lockman of Wildomar, California and Balia, eight-year-old Westfalen mare, and First Apple, 10-year-old KWPN stallion, both owned by Summit Farm

The USF described the program as a showcase of some of the country’s most promising up-and-coming dressage talent.

Charlotte Bredahl, USEF Development Program Coach, said: “Developing the talent for future years is especially vital as we move into the new Olympic quadrennial, and we hope to see these combinations transition to the Elite Program over the next several years, if not sooner. In addition to our current membership list, I’m inspired with how many other talented athletes and horses we have seen throughout the year and I’m looking forward to hopefully welcoming more of them to the list in 2021.”
