BONEO, Australia, Jan. 24, 2020–Mary Hanna won the CDI3* Grand Prix on Syriana Friday and took third place on Calanta.
Mary, 65 years old and a five-time Olympian for Australia, scored 70.717% on Syriana and 69.739% on Calanta.
The performance by Syriana was the first in Australia for Syriana. Mary had competed the 14-year-old Westfalen mare only in Europe before the rider moved back to Australia. Calanta last competed in Australia two years ago.
Lone Jörgensen, who rode at two Olympics for Denmark but now competes for Australia, placed second on 70.109%.
