BAWLEY POINT, Australia, July 4, 2019–WillingaPark Theodore, one of three dressage mounts acquired for Brett Parbery as prospects for the Tokyo Olympics, has died from a cancerous tumor, Terry Snow, the owner, reported Thursday.

Theodore, a 12-year-old KWPN Gelding previously named Blue Hors Touch Me, was bought late in 2018 as an Australian team prospect for Brett, one of the country’s top international riders.

The horse became ill in mid-June and after three weeks of intense treatment at the Sydney University Equine Hospital, he passed away. Post-mortem results revealed a cancerous tumor near his right kidney.
