SINT TRUIDEN, Belgium, April 20, 2019–France’s Morgan Barbançon posted a personal best score on Bolero to win the CDI3* Grand Prix Saturday.
Morgan and the 13-year-old KWPN gelding scored 71.587%, beating the pair’s previous best of 71.022% set two months ago.
Morgan took over the ride a year ago from her sister, Alexandra, who competed Bolero in the Under-25 division.
Belgium’s Jeroen Devroe on Hyrano placed second on a personal best of 70.891% in only the third Grand Prix for the pair, and the first since last July.
Fanny Verliefden also of Belgium on Indoctro VD Steenbok was third on 70.087%.
