FONTAINEBLEAU, France, July 12, 2018–Germany captured the European Young Rider Championships Nations Cup Thursday with the Netherlands taking silver and Sweden bronze, repeating the placings of 2017.
Holland’s Esmee Donkers on Chaina placed first individually on 77.264 per cent but the top three German combinations filled second through fourth places–Paulina Holzknecht on Wells Fargo at 74.941 per cent, Semmiecke Rothenberger on Geisha at 74.588 per cent and Lia Welschof on on Windsor OLD on 73.000 per cent.
This was the fifth straight year Germany won the championship Nations Cup.
