SÃO PAULO, Brazil, July 8, 2018–Brazil completed qualification at the Hípica Paulista CDI3* of a full team of four riders and horses for the World Equestrian Games in Tryon, North Carolina in two months.

Pedro Almeida on Aoleo, a 15-year-old Lusitano stallion, scored 66.957 per cent for the second qualifying result to join Leandro Silva with Di Caprio, Giovana Pass on Zingaro de Lyw and João Victor Oliva on Xiripiti and Xama dos Pinhais already with the scores for the WEG that is held once every four years.

In  the Small Tour used as an observation for the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru João Paulo dos Santos rode Carthago Comando SN to victory on 70.412 per cent Mauro Pereira, Jr. on Don Enrico AMM second on 69,118 per cent and Yara do Amaral Fernandez on Dilto HI third on 67.059 per cent.
