UGGERHALNE, Denmark, May 25, 2018–Mane Stream Belstaff ridden by Denmark’s Betina Jæger won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Friday in the first Big Tour show for the American-owned horse.
Betina and Belstaff, 11-year-old Hanoverian stallion, were awarded 71.532 per cent for first place with fellow Danes Lone BangLarsen on Bakkely’s Onandt second on 70.128 per cent and Helene Melsen on Aston Martin third on 70.128 per cent.
Belstaff was competed by Betina, 44 years old, at CDI small tour two years ago before Rowan became the owner later in the year. The pair placed fourth in the Grand Prix Thursday.
Rowan owns Semper Fidelis, a 12-year-old Oldenburg mare that was competed by Catherine Haddad-Staller at European CDI Grand Prix last fall. Rowan and Catherine ended their relationship last month and the owner said the horse that is on the U.S. federation’s pre-Elite list, is being ridden by Heather Blitz while she decides on a rider for the longer term.
Rowan also owns Fortune 500 and El Corona Texel, horses competed by American multi-Paralympic and world championship rider Rebecca Hart.
The prefix Mane Stream is for a New Jersey handicapped riding program supported by Rowan.
