HARTPURY, England, July 8, 2017–Richard Davison and Bubblingh posted a personal best score to win the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday night, the first Big Tour victory for the pair.

Richard, a four-time Olympian for Great Britain, and the 11-year-old British-bred KWPN gelding scored 76.800 per cent, surpassing the previous best of 74.475 per cent set at Bolesworth, England three weeks ago. Richard and Bubblingh began their Big Tour career two years ago.

Gareth Hughes of Great Britain and Don Carissimo placed second on 76.650 per cent Gareth and the 12-year-old Hanoverian have been competing at CDI Grand Prix for nine months.

Canada’s Diane Creech and Chrevi’s Christo placed third on 75.150 per cent in their first Big Tour Freestyle.

Diane and the 14-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding owned by Diane and Louise Leatherdale are competing in Europe for the first time., having shown in Uggerhalne, Denmark a month ago. The duo competed in a  handful of shows in Canada and the United States since September, 2015.
