WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 14, 2016–Great Britain’s Susan Pape rode Harmony’s Don Noblesse to victory at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival Saturday in the stallion’s first Grand Prix Special.
Susan and the 10-year-old Hanoverian stallion scored 68.118 per cent in the all-foreign Special just three weeks after placing third in the Louisdor Prize German championship for developing Grand Prix horses.
Don Noblesse (Dancier x Don Davidoff) is owned by Susan and American Leslie Malone and her Harmony Sporthorses of Kiowa, Colorado.
The success at the Frankfurt developing Grand Prix horse final, she said, led her to move Don Noblesse up to Big Tour at the same Palm Beach International Equestrian Center’s Stadium grounds where they had success at small tour last year.
Germany’s Michael Klimke on his Djamba Djokiba placed second on 65.980 per cent also in their first Special after competing the 10-year-old Westfalen gelding at small tour in Wellington for the past two years.
