ACHLEITEN, Austria, June 14, 2014–Jennifer Hoffmann debuted her XXXL Rubinio NRW at Grand Prix at the CDI4*, placing third in the Freestyle Saturday and fourth in the Grand Prix a day earlier.

Jennifer and the 11-year-old black Westfalen stallion scored 71.800 per cent in the Freestyle behind Victoria Max-Theurer and Augustin OLD of Austria and Switzerland’s Marcela Krinke Susmelj on Smeyers Molberg.

Jennifer, based in Germany, and Rubinio scored 67.040 per cent and fourth place in the Grand Prix that was the pair’s first international Grand Prix outing.

Not only was the event the Grand Prix debut for Rubinio (Rubin Royal x Farina by Florestan I) it was also the first performance of their Freestyle.

Rubinio was qualified by Jennifer in the six-year-old division at the FEI World Breeding Championships in Verden, Germany in 2009 but had to be pulled out when the horse broke a splint bone.

Jennifer was based in Encinitas, California at the time, but later moved to Germany with her husband, Jürgen, for family reasons.
