Jane Gregory, who rode for Great Britain at the 1996 Atlanta and 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, died Friday after a heart attack earlier in the week.

Born in England on June 30, 1959, Jane Bredin began her international career in 1994 when she competed in the World Equestrian Games.

She rode at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996 with her horse Cupido. She did not compete internationally due to horse injuries for several years. But in 2001 she was first in small tour rankings and made a full comeback in 2006 when she won the Grand Prix and the Special with her horse Lucky Star at the Munich, Germany CDI. Two years later she was on the British team at the Beijing Games.

She married her longtime partner, Aram Gregory, also a dressage rider who rides for Hong Kong.
