Recruiters are very skeptical about candidates who apply for a dozen vacancies with one resume. Such a "universal" summary says: "I really don't know how to do anything, but I want to earn!"

Even if you plan to consider several positions, then you need to write a separate resume for each of them.

Design is important

The recruiter processes a massive amount of resumes. And rest assured that he/she is tired of reading sheets of text that are not structured in any way.

Make your resume stand out from the rest. There are many templates for resumes on the Internet, which are already well-structured and designed. Use one of them or make a document on a specialized site.

  • Name and desired position

Your name and the position you are applying for should be the first to catch the eye. Be sure to highlight them in large print.

Email and link to the Facebook page are required. These are backup communication tools. Plus, a social media page will tell the recruiter more about you as a person. Therefore, make sure that there is no compromising information or photos. A link to a LinkedIn account is optional but desirable.

  • Summary

A summary is a kind of "an elevator speech". In just a few phrases, you need to make a good impression and prepare the ground for further, more detailed acquaintance.

  • Experience

Work experience matters more than education. Therefore, it must be specified at the very beginning. Maintain the following structure: company name - a position held - description of competencies and results.

At the top should be the position that you held last and not vice versa.

  • Education

If you have a higher education or certificates of any professional interest courses, you can and even need to indicate them.

  • Skills

The applicant's skills can be divided into two groups: hard skills and soft skills.

Hard skills are skills that are necessary to perform work duties directly.

Soft skills are personal qualities that allow you to work in a team and communicate with people successfully.

Pick up 3-5 skills from each group and list them on your resume.

  • References

In many companies, referrals are an essential part of the corporate culture. After all, who can better tell about an employee than the people he has worked with before?

This item is optional but desirable.
