STOCKHOLM, Nov. 30, 2019–Isabell Werth and Weihegold OLD won the Saab Top 10 CDI5* Grand Prix Sarurday with the highest score in more than two years for the 2016 German Olympic team gold medal pair.

Isabell and the 14-year-old Oldenburg mare ranked No. 2 in the world scored 83.652% for the victory. For Isabell, also ranked No. 1 on Bella Rose, the win was the third straight in the Grand Prix since the event was created in 2017. She won both the Grand Prix and Freestyle on Weihegold in 2018 and the two classes on Emilio in 2017.

Denmark’s Cathrine Dufour and Cassidy, medalists  at the 2017 and 2019 European Championships, placed second on 80.870%. Cathrine and the 16-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding that also competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics, are ranked seventh in the world. She also stands at No. 11 on Bohemian.

Jessica von Bredow Werndl of Germany on Zaire-E was third on 77.869%.
