SEGOVIA, Spain, May 12, 2019–Jose Daniel Martin Dockx, competing at Big Tour for only the second time since the 2016 Olympics on Grandioso, won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special on Manchego Arb Sunday.

Dani and the 13-year-old Spanish stallion scored 71.511% for the win, a month after the Big Tour debut for the partnership.

The rider competed Grandioso, the P.R.E. stallion owned by Hampton Green Farm of Florida and Michigan, on the Spanish team at both the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, the 2014 World Equestrian Games and 2013 and 2015 European Championships.

Spain’s Jordi Domingo Coll on Sonata DSH placed second on 71.021% with João Miguel Torrao of Portugal on Equador third on 70.340%.

In the Medium Tour, Dani won the CDI3* Int. A on the Michigan-bred Mejorano HGF and placed second on Hampton Green Farm’s Ataturc Duc, and placed second and fourth in the Int. B.
