ANKUM, Germany, Nov. 11, 2017–Australia’s Lyndal Oatley and Sandro Boy won the CDN Grand Prix in the first competition for the two-time Olympic partnership since the Rio Games in the summer of 2016.

The Germany-based Lyndal and her family’s 16-year-old Oldenburg gelding were awarded 71.867 per cent by the three-member ground jury.

Great Britain’s Emile Faurie on Dono di Maggio was second on 71.733 per cent with German Olympic rider Helen Langehanenberg on Annabelle third on 71.467 per cent.

Lyndal and Sandro Boy was the top placed Australian combination at the Olympics in London in 2012 and Rio de Janeiro in 2016, and also competed on the Australian team at the 2014 World Equestrian Games.
