DEVON, Pennsylvania, Sept. 29, 2017–Canada’s Diane Creech and Chrevi’s Christo, in their first competition since returning from Europe, posted a personal best score and their first Grand Prix result above 70 per cent to win the Dressage at Devon World Cup Grand Prix Friday night.
Diane and the 14-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding that she owns with Louise Leatherdale scored 70.940 per cent. Their previous best was 69.920 per cent set a year ago when the pair logged back-to-back victories.
America’s P.J. Rizvi of Greenwich, Connecticut who competes as an adult amateur, rode Breaking Dawn to second place on 70.120 per cent.
Canada’s Brittany Fraser and All In that a week ago won the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle placed third on 69.720 per cent.
The Grand Prix Freestyle to earn scores toward qualifying for one of two places awarded North America for the World Cup Final in Paris next April is scheduled for Saturday night.
