WELLINGTON, Florida, Sept. 19, 2017–Von Primaire, competed for Venezuela at the 2015 Pan American Games and the 2014 Central American Games, has been sold to a North Carolina rider.

Kelly Layne, the Wellington-based Australian owner, on  Tuesday confirmed the sale of “VP,” a 15-year-old Dutch gelding that she bought five years ago.

Kelly competed the horse at CDI small tour beginning in early 2012 then leased VP to her student, Irina Moleiro de Muro, to compete for Venezuela at the Central American Games in Veracruz, Mexico in 2014 and qualified for the 2015 Pan Ams in Toronto in 2015. Both championships were at small tour.

Kelly took over the ride again in late 2015 and competed Von Primaire for Australia at Grand Prix at the 2016 Nations Cup at the Global Dressage Festival in Wellington.
